What Coding Is
A plain-language introduction to coding for students who are starting from zero.
Coding is the process of writing instructions for a computer. Those instructions tell the machine what to show, what to calculate, what to store, or what to react to.
Think in instructions, not magic
Computers do not guess well. They follow what was written. That is why coding is less about mystery and more about clarity.
Where coding shows up
Websites, mobile apps, checkout flows, games, dashboards, and automation tools all exist because someone wrote instructions behind them.
What beginners should remember first
- Coding is learned step by step.
- You do not need to understand everything before you begin.
- Small, clear ideas beat rushing into advanced projects.
